Timpooneke Campground sits on the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway near the Mount Timpanogos Wilderness Area. The 15-mile round-trip Timpooneke Trail begins in the campground and leads to the Mount Timpanogos summit. Horses are allowed on the Timpooneke Trail.
